My Approach
At the heart of my work is a deep respect for each person’s experience.
I aim to offer a space that feels thoughtful, grounded, and emotionally attuned, where you can begin to explore what feels difficult, confusing, or unresolved, at a pace that feels right for you.
I see therapy as a collaborative and relational process. Rather than applying a fixed or prescriptive approach, I work in an integrative way—drawing on psychodynamic, trauma-informed, somatic, and existential perspectives, alongside an awareness of the social, cultural, and political contexts that shape our lives.
This includes attending to patterns that may have developed over time, the impact of relationships and early experiences, and how emotional experience can be held both psychologically and in the body. It may also involve making sense of the bigger questions that can emerge at times of difficulty around identity, direction, and what feels meaningful or important in your life, as well as how your experiences are shaped by the wider world you are part of.
Together, this creates space not only for a deeper understanding of yourself, but also for the possibility of living in a way that feels more connected, intentional, and aligned with what matters to you.

Training, Experience and Ethical Practice
I am a qualified adult psychotherapist registered with both BACP and UKCP. I have an MSc and a Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute. I engage in regular clinical supervision with a qualified supervisor to support reflective practice and ensure my work remains ethical, effective, and accountable. I adhere to both BACP and UKCP professional and ethical standards.
I have experience working with clients one-to-one and in groups across NHS, charity, and private practice settings, including specialist psychotherapy practitioner roles working with people who have experienced complex trauma and sexual violence.
Alongside my clinical work, I teach, lecture and supervise psychotherapy trainees at postgraduate diploma and Masters levels, and remain engaged in ongoing learning and professional development.

My Therapeutic Values
At the core of my values is a belief that each person is inherently worthy, regardless of what they have experienced or how they may come to therapy.
I understand that we are shaped by multiple influences—our relationships, histories, bodies, cultures, and the wider social and political contexts we live within. Therapy offers a space to begin exploring these layers and how they may be shaping your experience.
I see therapy as a unique kind of relationship. It is not a space where I give advice or provide ready-made answers, but one where insight can develop over time, through reflection, dialogue, and a deepening understanding of yourself. This process can also shed light on patterns in your relationships, both past and present.
A commitment to non-oppressive and anti-discriminatory practice is central to my work. I aim to remain attentive to power, difference, and the impact of systemic and cultural forces, and to create a space that is respectful, inclusive, and open to exploration. I do not approach this work from a position of being “complete” or fully resolved. Rather, I bring myself with honesty and care, in service of the therapeutic process and the work we are doing together.
