Contact me via email to express your interest in private Yoga & Mindfulness Therapy. We will have a brief discussion and if appropriate agree a date for the first session. A registration form will then be sent to you for completion prior to our first session.​

Both mindfulness and therapeutic yoga are well known to help improve stress, anxiety, depression and the effects of trauma.  Most therapeutic interventions tend to focus on just the mind and/or just the body as a way to enhance mental well-being, however I believe the most effective way to encourage long-term transformation is by working with the physical, emotional and psychological aspects of ourselves.  Methods that focus just on the mind forget that mental habits are deeply connected with how the brain functions.

​Without movement or breath work a person will struggle to use the power of mind to change deeply entrenched patterns of thinking and reacting.  Likewise if we only focus on the body we may overlook the reasons why we are so tied to particular ways of reacting to the environment.

​Research reveals that faster and more long-term healing occurs through the intelligent integration of mind and body techniques.

Private yoga therapy will help you to access these profound healing properties and working together we will aim to:
  • Enhance the functioning of the nervous system to improve well-being
  • Improves self-awareness through the practice of mindfulness
  • Promote relationship to self and others by bringing awareness and insight into habitual patterns of thought and behaviour.
